A note on "cookies"
We mostly use your browser's local storage rather than traditional cookies, but the same rules apply. Below we group everything by purpose.
Essential (always on)
- Keeping you signed in (authentication tokens).
- Security checks, including the "I am not a robot" challenge.
- Crash reports, when error tracking is configured: stack traces only, with career content, emails, and document ids stripped.
- Remembering your cookie choices.
- An invite link you opened: a first-party note of that code for 30 days, so the member who sent it can be credited. Set only after you open an invite. Not shared with advertisers.
These are required for the site to work, so they don't need consent.
Functional
- Your theme (light/dark) and language/region preference.
Cookieless statistics
We count visits with Plausible, privacy-friendly, aggregate statistics to understand what's working. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, does no cross-site tracking and nothing that identifies you personally, so it runs on every page without asking.
Analytics (optional)
If you allow analytics, we keep the campaign tags (UTMs) of the link that first brought you here in your browser, so a sign-up can be credited to the campaign behind it.
On our public pages we also use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure our marketing. They load only if you allow analytics or marketing, and only for what you allowed (Google Consent Mode). They never run on the signed-in app or on a published Career Site.
Marketing (optional)
If we run ad campaigns, advertising tags help us measure them, through Google Tag Manager and the X (Twitter) Ads pixel on our public pages. When you create an account, the X pixel also counts that one sign-up, with no email or other personal details. They are off unless you explicitly allow marketing.
Third parties
Some actions take you to trusted providers on their own domains: payments for plans and coaching (Stripe). Their own cookie policies apply while you are on their pages. Career Film generation calls xAI's API from our servers; that is not a cookie on your device. Extra typefaces on a career, if you pick them, load from Google Fonts.
Your choices
You can accept or reject non-essential storage at any time. .
